Went on horse back tour. Dwayne was wonderful. He was very friendly, easy to talk to. Explained all different vegetation (pointed out different things and explained thoroughly). There is too much to say about Dwayne. He is reliable, polite, courteous, everything that is positive. Dwayne and his guides picked us up early in the morning. They took us on a breath-taking tour up the hills. Its was amazing. They showed us various beautiful sites along the way. We even got mangoes. Dwayne is absolutely fabulous! He and fellow guide took my husband and 12-year old daughter horseback riding along the beach from Beaches Negril. The arrangement was for a 20 minute ride, however, they rode for an hour, enjoyed beautiful scenery and got a chance to see other rental properties on the beach. Dwayne showed up at the exact time he promised. He obviously takes great care of his horses and does not "over ride" them for the sake of profit. He did not push for tips, but I would highly recommend it.

A 'true' Jamaican education

Phil and I have been vacationing in Negril for over 8yrs, and truly never miss an experience with Dwayne while here. We ride through the hills and visit the Top of the World to visit Little Fish and Kim, more Jamaican friends we've met through Dwayne. We have ridden the beach early in the morning (at times, a colt following her Mommy while we ride, how beautiful is that??). We have shared morning coffee and afternoon beers with Dwayne because he provides an experience like no other, a 'true' Jamaican education, mon! Phil and I consider Dwayne and Rasta-mon friends and look forward to many more rides...DO NOT miss out on this experience with Dwayne (a gentleman and Jamaican scholar) while visiting our home away from home. Oh, and Dwayne's horses just LOVE me....

the most beautiful views and vistas that I have ever experienced in my life.

Dwayne was an excellent guide. I had never been horseback riding before and Dwayne made me feel very comfortable. I've been to JA 5 previous times and Dwayne defiantly showed me some of the most beautiful views and vistas that I have ever experienced in my life. It was also nice to just wander around the neighborhoods and see the kids' reaction to the horses. If you are looking for a quality guide I would with hesitation to go with Dwayne. Its a whole different way of seeing the beach and sea!

We had a wonderful morning riding almost the whole length of the beach with Dwayne and his helpers, who were helpful, friendly and ensured that we were safe (for the less experienced riders). We also learnt a lot about the area from their friendly chats. The highlight of the ride was the swim in the sea with the horses, who by the way are also well behaved! If you get a chance go for a ride with Dwayne - its a whole different way of seeing the beach and sea!

I can't think of a more magical experience

I can't think of a more magical experience than riding a horse along a beach in Negril with Dwayne. As a guide, Dwayne was so professional. While he knew his horses, his knowledge of the terrain as well as the people was noteworthy. I returned home recounting my experience along the Negril beach at sunrise-perched on a very friendly and responsive horse lead by Dwayne. When I felt more comfortable, Dwayne "gave me the reigns" at sunrise. Life "was good" and will get better when I return to take another morning ride with Dwayne along the pristine beaches of Negril.

Dwayne led me and my friend on a morning horseback ride on January 16th. It was very enjoyable. It was a special memorial ride as my friend's sister had passed away that day. I haven't been on a horse in over 30 years, but Dwayne made me feel very comfortable getting back up there! He helped me remember the points, do's and don'ts. One of the best memories of our honeymoon!

We met Dwayne on the beach near our hotel. I asked him for a 30 minute ride for my wife and I. We rode for about an hour and Dwayne and his friends were great. We rode "Pretty Boy" and "Hero" and they were so gentle. It was so relaxing and one of the best memories of our honeymoon. We will book with him in advance next time to make sure we don't miss it.
